Many families are now seeking to arrange funerals that feel personal and reflect the person who has died. One way you can do this is to hire a funeral celebrant.
A funeral celebrant is someone qualified to host and officiate funeral services. As well as conducting the funeral itself, celebrants are involved in planning the order of service, music, writing the eulogy, and creating a meaningful service for the person who has died. Celebrants will generally aim to create services that celebrate a person’s life, as well as provide an opportunity to say goodbye. Funeral Celebrants aim to conduct funerals that feel both meaningful and personal.
Serving the family and loved ones by delivering a funeral service, memorial service, or tribute that is personalized and individualized to reflect the personality and lifestyle of the deceased. For over 20 years I have prepared funerals for families. My goal remains the same "to provide an intimate, personal and peaceful experience". An experience for $250 includes:
FAMILY MEETING: A time to meet with the family to help plan details for the service and to learn about the deceased loved one through the eyes of the family.
SERVICE PREPARATION: Assist the family in customizing a service that reflects how they wish to honor and celebrate the deceased ( i.e.- music, readings, videos, slide show ).
FUNERAL FACILITATING: Leading the funeral and graveside services, which can include a personal and unique message for the service, if so desired. I welcome the opportunity to come alongside and assist the family during their time of loss and grief. My experience, professionalism, and personal care will result in a funeral experience that is life-honoring.
